At a young age Benjamin D. Baker developed a fascination with stories. He would often be found up at late hours of the night reading under his covers with a flashlight. Many of his early stories were homework assignments for elementary school with a plot that typically revolved around food or eating.
After graduating highschool he served a full time mission for the LDS church in the countries of El Salvador and Belize. These exotic adventures helped fuel his creative fire and began to grow a desire to make a living as a full time writer.
He attended college at Southern Utah University where he met his wife Madeline in an English class. He has since graduated with an Associates of Arts Degree in Spanish and hoped to make enough writing that he didn’t need to go back and get a “real” degree.
After a brief 6 month sabbatical in Poitiers, France he is back to living in the states in Orem, Utah and is currently attending Utah Valley University to obtain a “real” degree in journalism while publishing his stories each month.
